In early 2006 the National Microelectronics Institute undertook a sector wide survey on semiconductor design related activities in the UK and Ireland. A report is now ready and presents the findings together with insight and commentary into the status of design activities here. Weighing in at 55 pages, the report covers market sectors, technology, employment, business indicators, business & technical challenges - details of the reports’ contents can be seen below.
