Reducing energy consumption
and improving the energy efficiency of electronic devices continues
to be a priority whether motivated by battery life, thermal management
or carbon footprint considerations. Legislation has already been
introduced to enforce standards. What are the implications for designers
at both the chip & system-level and how does this impact on
product specification?
Building on the success of the 2007
meeting, this event will focus on low-power/power-efficient
digital and analogue/mixed-signal design practices using industrial
and academic case studies together with an overview of the legislative
framework.
As always, in addition to the presentations, there will be the
opportunity to meet and network with attendees from a variety
of organisations ranging from fabless semiconductor providers,
IDMs, tool suppliers, foundries, design service providers, IP
providers, training, research and academic institutions.
