Tony is a highly experienced electronics industry senior executive with more than 27 years experience in the semiconductor and consumer electronics industries. He is currently Vice President of Marketing for Imagination Technologies, where he is responsible for strategic and tactical marketing of all semiconductor System on Chip (SoC) Intellectual Property (IP) technologies and also manages Imagination’s strategic partnerships and ecosystem programmes.

Tony also sits on the Board of PURE Digital - the consumer electronics company credited with kick-starting digital radio in the UK and leading worldwide.

Imagination Technologies is the world’s leading supplier of application-specific hardware accelerators and embedded processing cores, and has created a significant range of products for graphics, video, communications and embedded processing licensed by many of the world’s top semiconductor and consumer electronics companies including TI, Intel, Renesas, NEC, NXP and Samsung. Imagination also owns PURE Digital, who are the world leaders in DAB Digital Radio and connected audio products.

Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Tony graduated with 1st Class Honours in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Melbourne. He then moved to Europe, where he progressed through a diverse range of multinational companies, holding senior management positions with significant international companies including Panasonic, Hitachi (now Renesas), LSI Logic, INMOS and British Aerospace.

Through has career, Tony has created and led significant semiconductor, software and product development teams, as well as undertaking a wide range of global marketing and business development roles. Through this work, he has developed a unique global perspective of the electronics industry from European, Asian, Japanese and US management perspectives.
