The event is being run in conjunction with the NMI and will comprise
of a talk by John Anderson CEO of the Entrepreneurial Exchange,
followed by a finger buffet and a chance to network amongst yourselves.
The overall event will be about 2 hours. Some background material
relating to the Entrepreneurial Exchange is shown later in this
email.
Question: Who should attend
and why?
Answer: Anyone who is running
their own business, or who aspires to run their own business will
be interested in meeting John Anderson and hearing his talk. As
will those who work in large organisations, but would like insights
into issues effecting the entrepreneur.
If you plan to attend, then please let me know so that I can organise
appropriate catering.
About the Entrepreneurial Exchange
The Entrepreneurial Exchange was founded in 1994 as part of the
Scottish Enterprise Business Birth Rate Strategy. Its aim was to
help isolated entrepreneurs to network with other like-minded people,
to share experiences and the challenges of business.
The Exchange now has a membership base of some 400 entrepreneurs
from a variety of business backgrounds, including most of Scotland's
recent successful wealth creators.
The Exchange is funded by members' subscriptions and exists to
provide regular events where members can meet, exchange ideas and
learn from each other. The value of this advice is demonstrably
high and the opportunity to gain access to truly successful entrepreneurs
is unequalled.
The underlying philosophy of The Exchange is that entrepreneurs
learn most from fellow entrepreneurs - those who have been there
and done it. We live by our motto - 'for entrepreneurs by entrepreneurs'
- and at our events Exchange members hear the reality of running
a high-growth business directly from fellow entrepreneurs. |
