The next SMMT webinar will focus on international business opportunities and the work SMMT and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) are doing to enable UK companies to benefit from doing business abroad.

A dedicated team of experienced SMMT specialists work closely with UKTI and a range of other bodies to help UK firms expand their business overseas and capitalise on potential investment opportunities.  This year, SMMT expects to receive around £240k in government funding through UKTI grants to support the UK automotive sector by developing international export opportunities.  SMMT covers all the global key markets including Brazil, Russia, India, China, Middle East & North Africa, South Africa and Europe.

SMMT chief executive, Paul Everitt will chair the event and provide an update on the latest industry developments.  David Croxson, Head of International at SMMT, will give an overview of the latest overseas developments, focus on the upcoming opportunities and discuss the support available to help UK firms expand their markets abroad.
