Advances in FPGA technology promise higher-performance and greater integration. However, in order to deliver this, the PCB has to be considered up front – it can no longer be decoupled from FPGA system design. But what is the best way to achieve this and what are the pitfalls?

This event will focus on the interactions between and, experience of, system designers, FPGA providers, PCB suppliers and designers using case studies to illustrate the measures that need to be taken to ensure that both sides understand the demands, constraints and issues of the other. As the first NMI event to encompass PCB Design, there will also be an extended discussion on the needs of and requirements for an industry group to address this sector.

This will be an opportunity to meet and network with attendees from a variety of organisations and help shape the direction of a future NMI network.
