Digital Communications Knowledge Transfer Network and Cambridge Wireless Testing SIG Present: ‘A Testing Challenge',

This event offers unprecedented access to one the world's leading research facilities, the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) where, at this event, we will also undertake privileged tours of their laboratories, which are not normally extended to the public. After the tour, attendees will have the opportunity to debate about the challenges faced by testing companies in the industry!

Join our impressive line up of speakers:
• Professor Simon Kingsley, Antenova, who will speak on Multi-Band/Multi-Mode radio systems
• Dr.Ir Leo Poll of Philips Research, who will talk about and demo the concept of Accelerated Testing
• David Humphreys, NPL who will speak on the future challenges of wireless technology

This meeting will draw on NPL's expertise in the development of fundamental metrics. We will explore challenges in tracing performance through increasingly complex real world settings of converged technologies operating in complex environments. We will examine approaches for making testing manageable from design to prototype to production, such as using an understanding of fundamental properties to improve automated testing and build in increasing amounts of self testing.
