UKTI is participating in the MCPC Mobile Solution Fair, Tokyo, on 25th November 2011.  The show is
hosted by the Mobile Computing Promotion Consortium (MCPC - http://www.mcpc-jp.org/index_e.htm), one of Japan’s most active industry bodies in the mobile communications sector. Its membership comprises nearly 200 major mobile carriers, handset makers and system integrators using mobile technologies. 
 
Some of the areas that MCPC focus on are ITS, telematics, mobile cloud, mobile security, wifi, Wimax and business application software. MCPC is very keen to partner with overseas companies and organisations to leverage overseas technologies to enhance and strengthen mobile and wireless applications and businesses within Japan.

For participants on the UKTI stand, your business and services will be assessed prior to the event by the MCPC Venture Working Group, including: NTT DoCoMo, Fujitsu, KDDI, Softbank, Panasonic, Sharp. Panel companies may request individual meetings to discuss the detail of your business and services, but for those unable to come to Tokyo in person, British Embassy staff will meet them on your behalf and feed comments back to you.
 
Your company profile will be translated into Japanese to create a panel for the stand, and it will be handed out to visitors. Sales leads (business cards and comments/questions) generated during the show will be fed back to you.
