Designed to take large scale IET events “on the road”, this free seminar will provide members of the North Western Region the opportunity to engage in the topic of the important role power system networks play in moving the UK towards a low carbon economy. The 2020 renewable energy targets are high on the agenda for all the various players within the power industry and energy organisations are facing increased pressure to meet these demands.
Drawing on the topics covered in the 2009 Power System and Equipment Network event programme, this evening seminar will include presentations from two key speakers within the power systems field to highlight and explore the future challenges faced by regulators, network owners and operators.
The evening will provide an ideal opportunity to gain an insight into the hot topic of sustainable networks, whilst also providing a chance to network with peers as the North Western Local Networks joins the Power Systems and Equipment Network for a successful event.
