The North West Technology Network (NW-TN) aims to facilitate a meeting of minds between those involved in the technology sector. The intent is to develop the North West eco-system and to form valuable links with other UK-based technology focussed networks.

John Urwin

John recently retired from Wolfson Microelectronics where he was Operations Director for 14 years and was one of the core executives to establish Wolfson as a successful product company. He is currently a non exec director at ASD (Trondheim) and Jennic Ltd of Sheffield.

John's talk will outline the journey from "cash strapped startup" to IPO focussing on important aspects of supply chain and operational challenges rounding up on the role of a Non-Exec.

Libby Kinsey

Investment Manager in the ICT and Engineering sectors.

Libby will introduce NESTA and discuss its role helping high tech, innovative start-ups.
