An NMI Innovation Network Event in collaboration with MIDAS.
Analogue circuits can, in many cases, be supplemented and enhanced by digital techniques. This can be particularly important where analogue scaling is no longer effective - otherwise leading to poorer characteristics and reduced performance. In a world of large digital devices containing key analogue functions, it is important that performance of the ‘small' analogue is maintained and ‘digital assistance' can be one way of achieving this.
This event will consider the benefits and pitfalls of various approaches. As the first NMI event to be held in conjunction with MIDAS, there will be a chance to network and opportunities to explore business collaboration between companies in Ireland and the UK.
Pre-Event Dinner
We have also arranged for an informal meal the night before the event (Weds 21st October) at the Louis Fitzgerald hotel with a special price three course set-menu of €34.50. While this is not sponsored (i.e. you will need to pay for yourselves) delegates are welcome to join myself and Paul Jarvie from NMI in the restaurant at 7:30.
Let Robin Kennedy know if you are interested in this option so I can confirm numbers with the restaurant.
