By its very nature embedded software is usually developed to run
on custom or semi-custom hardware. At the start of an embedded software
development program the custom hardware is rarely available, often
taking many months to develop. Until the hardware is fully developed
and debugged it is impossible to properly test and debug the software.
This event examines some of the issues involved in debugging embedded
software and takes a look at ways that we can improve our chances
of success.
As always, in addition to the presentations, there will be the
opportunity to meet and network with attendees from a variety of
organisations ranging from fabless semiconductor providers, IDMs,
tool suppliers, foundries, design/software service providers, IP
providers, training, research and academic institutions.
